• 3-day event celebrates Kol school’s 80th anniv

  • Kolkata: Abhinav Bharati High School marked 80 years of nurturing young minds with a three-day celebration from Nov 11 to 13.

    To commemorate this milestone, the school has unveiled its new logo. The blend of heritage and modernity — a value that ABHS believes in — finds a true reflection in its new look. Distinguished guests included industrialist H M Bangur, Land & Land Reforms & Refugee Relief & Rehabilitation Department, govt of West Bengal additional chief secretary, Vivek Kumar, director British Council, East and Northeast India Debanjan Chakraborti, director-cardiology, BM Birla Hospital Anjan Siotia.

    The students put up a cultural programme. They staged a beautiful play ‘Jasmine of Agrabah' adapted from ‘The Arabian Nights'. The president of the school managing committee Arun Lohia and principal Sraboni Samanta addressed the gathering by explaining the significance of the new logo and spoke about the future aspirations of the students.
