Across Diamond Harbour, Sebashray camps continue to serve the needy.

Responding to the success of the camps at Diamond Harbour, Abhishek Banerjee, Trinamul Congress national general secretary, posted in his X handle on Thursday: “After the resounding success of our first edition, we have now launched #Sebaashray2, a renewed commitment to bring healthcare to every doorstep, every community, and every individual who needs it most.

“This mission is guided by a single, unwavering principle: service above self, citizens above politics. Every interaction, every dose of medicine, every step taken to connect someone to specialist care is a pledge that governance can be empathetic, forward-looking, and inseparable from the lived realities of the people.

“With Sebaashray 2, we are not just delivering healthcare; we are reshaping how care reaches the citizen, building a model that is replicable, sustainable, and driven by humanity at its core.”
