After Maheshtala, Sebaashray 2 camps will now be held at Metiabruz, which falls under the Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha seat.
The initiative has been taken by Abhishek Banerjee, Trinamul Congress MP from Diamond Harbour and party’s national general secretary. In Maheshtala, 22 elderly people underwent cataract surgery at a private hospital. They are all keeping well now.
Sebaashray 2 camps will be held in all the Assembly segments that fall under Diamond Harbour Lok Sabha seat. The camps will continue till 28 January. From 24 to 28 January, follow up camps will be held. Medicines are being given free of cost to the visitors. In every constituency, a model camp will be held. Sebaashray 2 initiative was inaugurated by Mr Banerjee at Maheshtala. It will be held in Metiabruz, Satgachia, Budge Budge, Bishnupur, Falta and Diamond Harbour.
The model camp in Metiabruz has been set up at Number 4 Football ground, Akra Fatak. The camps will be set up at Santoshpur Kalinagar Math, TG Road party office, Mominpara, Karamdanga Badamtala, Makalhati Uttarpara, a ground in front of Pachur Higher Secondary School, Panchur Laskarpara FP School, Gitanjali mancha, Podirhat Malipara, Gurguria Maidan, Deoabagan, R5 Garden Reach Road, Railline Jugipara, G 154 Mandalpara Road, Satghara Mandirtala and Pallimangal Club Badartala.
The camps will be attended by specialised doctors, nurses and paramedical staff. Trinamul workers will guide the visitors to the specialist doctor. The visitors will have to register their names.
