Kolkata: A list of absent, shifted or dead/duplicate (ASDD) persons, whose names were mentioned in the Bengal's electoral roll on Oct 27, would be published on respective DEO/DM as well as on the CEO websites, the EC said, adding the names could be searched with the help of their EPIC.
These names will not be included in the draft SIR roll, to be published on Dec 16.
The list will be uploaded after a meeting of BLOs and BLAs. The EC posted on X: "...Respective CEOs will ensure the sharing of booth-wise lists of electors marked as Absent, Shifted or Dead/Duplicate (ASD),who could not be contacted even after 3 or more visits by BLOs, with BLAs nominated by district presidents of parties prior to the publication of the Draft Electoral Rolls... ."
