Orange Line: State tells HC it will meet RVNL on Dec 17

Kolkata: The state in its report to Calcutta High Court on Friday stated it will sit with the Rail Vikas Nigam Limited representative at 5 pm at Metro Bhavan on Dec 17 to thrash out the imbroglio at Chingrighata, a spot that falls along the Orange Line between Garia and airport.
Advocate General Kishore Datta will attend the meeting on behalf of the state, among others.
Acting Chief Justice Sujoy Paul, after hearing the state's submission, observed there had been much delay in the execution of the project and there should not be any delay further. The division bench expected the meeting would sort out the impasse at Chingrighata.
The work at Chingrighata got delayed because of the state's inability to stop traffic at the spot .
