  • SIR draft roll West Bengal 2025: The Election Commission of India (ECI) is set to release the draft electoral rolls for West Bengal on Tuesday, December 16. The SIR (Special Intensive Revision) process began on November 4, following the schedule announced by the Election Commission on October 27.

    The release of the draft rolls will mark the conclusion of the enumeration phase and the start of a more contentious stage involving claims, objections and hearings, which is expected to continue until February 2026.

    As the Election Commission will publish the draft electoral roll for West Bengal, voters who do not find their name in the list need not panic. If your name does not appear or you are unable to find it, you can submit a claim or objection with the Election Commission within the stipulated period.

    If you are unable to find your name in the draft electoral rolls, you should follow the steps mentioned below:

    The enumeration forms were printed for all voters and delivered door-to-door by BLOs. According to PTI, voters who submitted signed forms, even if partially filled have been retained in the draft list, though their details will be subject to further verification.
