Kalyani: Dibyendu Das, from the department of chemical sciences at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Kolkata, was conferred the Vigyan Yuva Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Award 2025 by President Droupadi Murmu at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, New Delhi, on Tuesday at 4 pm.
The award is one of India's highest honours for excellence in scientific research and innovation, recognizing outstanding contribution by young scientists. Das is the sole awardee in chemistry for 2025. His work has drawn wide acclaim for originality, impact, and potential applications.
The IISER Kolkata community and the scientific fraternity have congratulated Das on this distinguished recognition.
