Kolkata: Kolkata Metro will run special New Year services on the Blue and Green lines on four consecutive Sundays (Jan 4, 11, 18 and 25). On these days, the Blue Line will run 160 services instead of 130. Services will start at 9 am, but the last train from Shahid Khudiram to Dakshineswar will be at 9.33 pm instead of 9.30 pm, and the last train from Shahid Khudiram to Dum Dum will be at 9.44 pm instead of 9.43 pm.
The Green Line will provide 124 services instead of 108. Services will begin at 9.02 am and end at 9.55 pm, with a special 10.05 pm train from Howrah Maidan to Central Park. On these Sundays, Blue Line trains will be available at 8-minute intervals from 3.20 pm to 7.20 pm instead of 10-minute intervals. The Green Line will run at 10-minute intervals instead of 15 minutes from 4.02 pm to 8.30 pm.
