Students display creativity at school’s art & science exhibition

Kolkata: St Sebastian's School hosted an art and science exhibition recently. Centred on the theme "The Science of Beauty and the Logic of Art", the exhibition highlighted the interplay of imagination and intellect in the learning process.
Councillor Sandipan Saha was the chief guest. Children across different grades showcased remarkable dedication as they presented replicas and working models of well-researched and contemporary concepts. An E-city model was displayed demonstrating smart infrastructure, sustainable transport and digital governance. An eco-friendly solution using solar energy to support water-efficient farming was set up.
A preposition city model, creative linguistic display explaining spatial relationships through objects and visuals. Other objects on display were earthquake alarm, a safety device was designed to alert people during seismic vibrations, hydraulic snake bite 3D model, a demonstration explaining pressure systems and mechanism of spitting venom, an earthquake-resistant city. A historical replica reflecting Mahatma Gandhi's life of simplicity and a 3D model of the animal cell structure. A working model showing air filtration and purification techniques drew a lot of attention.
