Students fight for technical excellence at school competition

The leading National Level Technical Bonanza of the country – ConnecTech, which sees the highest number of participation in technical contests all across India, organised by the University of Engineering & Management (UEM), Kolkata and Jaipur, was held in UEM Kolkata campus.
The competition invited various school students across the state to participate in the different technical competitive events and win various prizes (financial awards and trophies) along with winning the Champions’ & Runner-up trophies for the schools with the best performances. The programme was inaugurated by Sabyasachi Chakraborty, eminent Indian actor renowned for his distinguished work in theatre, films, and television. He is widely acclaimed for portraying the iconic Bengali detective characters Feluda. Chancellor Prof. Banani Chakrabarti, UEM, Kolkata & Jaipur, Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Sajal Dasgupta, UEM, Kolkata, Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Biswajoy Chatterjee, UEM, Jaipur, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr Satyajit Chakrabarti, UEM, Kolkata & Jaipur, and many delegates from the industry were present.
The competition saw participation of 600+ school students from leading schools of West Bengal.
