Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Thursday refused to quash an FIR lodged against leader of the opposition Suvendu Adhikari in Malda on Jan 2, over alleged derogatory remarks against a former IPS officer, but directed the police not to take any coercive action against the BJP neta till the next hearing of the matter on Feb 6. Justice Suvra Ghosh directed authorities to serve notice upon Adhikari to appear virtually for the sake of the investigation.
