Kolkata: Hidco will e-auction two commercial plots in the CBD area of New Town, one of 10 acres and the other of 3.9 acres, on a freehold basis. The auction will be held next month.
While the starting bid price for the 3.9-acre plot has been fixed at Rs 138.9 crore, that for the 10-acre plot has been fixed at Rs 353.3 crore. The authorities have started inviting bids from eligible corporate bodies. Officials said a change in the purpose for the use of the plots would not be allowed, and that construction, once allotted, should start within one year of the date of possession of the land. tnn
