Kolkata: A woman from Metiabruz has finally lodged a police complaint, accusing her sister's husband of sexually harassing her and forcing her into physical relations on multiple occasions in the past two decades. Following the complaint lodged at the Metiabruz PS on Jan 20, cops have decided to summon the accused next week.
The complainant alleged the abuse started in April 2005, months after her sister got married in 2004, but she kept quiet, worried for her sister. The abuse was allegedly repeated in 2007 when the man threatened her with death if she disclosed his act. The accused kept sending her obscene messages. Finally, when he again sent her messages on Jan 16, she confided in her husband. tnn
