Believe it or not: Two feet in the air and an aeroplane full of chaos

You’ve heard “put your feet up and relax” – but this passenger understood the assignment a little too literally. Mid-air chaos broke out on a Qatar Airways flight from Doha to Moscow when a woman decided her neighbour’s headrest was prime foot-rest real estate. Denied comfort or perhaps an upgrade, she chose defiance instead, turning basic flight etiquette into a viral spectacle.
Flying discomfort class
The clip triggered instant online outrage and jokes in equal measure. Viewers dubbed it “Discomfort Class,” while others quipped this is what happens when “your upgrade
request gets rejected.” The consensus: there’s reclining – and then there’s turning someone else’s headrest into a foot spa.
Feet up, patience down
Despite many requests from passengers and cabin crew, the woman refused to put her feet down. She allegedly shook the seat’s headrest with her feet, clapping her trainers together above the head of the woman in front, forcing her to lean forward while working on her laptop, until an air hostess intervened. Not only did it not help the situation at all, the flight became a gross display of free will.
