Kolkata: Both flanks of Vidyasagar Setu will remain closed for 12 hours between 6 am and 6 pm this Sunday. The closure is being carried out for repair and rehabilitation work, including replacement of stay and holding-down cables and bearings.
An HRBC engineer said the shutdown was aimed at completing a portion of the task. Traffic will be diverted to Howrah Bridge, Nivedita and Vivekananda Setu. tnn
