Kolkata: The Church of North India (CNI) held a workshop titled "Roadmap for the standing committees of the synod of CNI" to chart the church's direction for coming years, focusing on growth, sustainable development and institutional self-reliance, with emphasis on mobilising its diverse resources—human, institutional, financial and community-based.
Held under the guidance of Bishop Paritosh Canning, the exercise called for better coordination among standing committees, sharper planning and measurable outcomes.
It identified education and healthcare as key focus areas. Women's empowerment and safeguarding vulnerable communities, were also prioritised.
