Berhampore: Mira Sultana, wife of Aam Janata Unnayan Party founder Humayun Kabir, was summoned to Shaktipur police station on Wednesday over allegations that her house was built on agricultural land.
Sultana, however, skipped the hearing. Kabir has legally challenged the matter. Earlier, the District Land and Land Reforms Office issued a show-cause notice on Feb 17, giving Sultana a week to respond.
