Kolkata: The state finance department on Thursday issued an SOP for drawing and disbursing officers (DDOs) detailing procedures for drawing arrear DA bills for state govt employees.
The guideline states that the amount will be credited to employees' General Provident Fund (GPF) accounts.
The employee-wise arrear statement will be available with the DDO, and the DA arrear amount is to be transferred to the GPF account as reflected in the statement. After necessary checks, the DDO will generate bills based on it. Group D and former employees will have a ‘beneficiary list' generated in HRMS for transfer to their bank accounts, it said.
