Kolkata: City-based FMCG company Ganesh Consumer Products has taken up an expansion plan in northern markets like Delhi and Varanasi. The company is accelerating its distribution across Odisha, the northeast, Bihar and Jharkhand, according to director Devansh Mimani.
The company's product portfolio includes atta, maida, dalia, sattu, sooji, besan and millets, along with value-added categories such as spices and instant mixes. For the expansion of its footprint, however, the company is mostly banking on sattu. "Sattu has always been India's natural energy drink. With this campaign, we are reintroducing it to a new generation in a more relevant and accessible format," said Mimani. He stated that the company is focusing on scaling its business across general trade, modern retail and e-commerce platforms.
The company also announced that it had roped in cricketer Ravindra Jadeja as its brand ambassador.
