RaGa, Priyanka on Congress star list, Kharge in Kol today

Kolkata: Congress on Monday released its star campaigner list for the Bengal assembly elections, headlined by Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and party president Mallikarjun Kharge.
Kharge is scheduled to visit Kolkata on Tuesday. Rahul Gandhi, who last visited Bengal during the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra ahead of the 2024 LS polls, is also likely to campaign.
The list also includes former India cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin, Shashi Tharoor, KC Venugopal, former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Kanhaiya Kumar, who quit CPI to join Congress in 2021.
Several younger leaders feature as well — among them Sachin Pilot, Gaurav Gogoi, Alka Lamba and Amba Prasad, with Pilot and Lamba also campaigning for the party in Assam.
