Trinamul Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee said that three agencies are working in Murshidabad district ~ the ECI and Gyanesh Kumar, who are deleting voters; Adhir Chowdhury and Humayun Kabir.

In Murshidabad, I have come here multiple times and presented some important matters on behalf of the party. We have fielded candidates who are sons of the soil and, after winning the polls, will be by your side 24×7 and work for the people. A group of people has come ahead of the polls to mislead people here. They are the B and C teams of BJP, he said.

Talking about Humayun Kabir sting video, Mr Banerjee said: “Only an investigation can reveal the truth behind the video of Humayun Kabir. But his candidate from Bharatpur, Khubaib Amin Saheb, has already called a press conference and resigned from the party yesterday. Owaisi’s AIMIM has also cut ties with Humayun Kabir—he has been a traitor to the Muslims. He could not explain it to his own people and is now coming before the press stating that this is an AI video ~ why then could he not convince his own leaders?”
He added, while some BJP leaders talk about stopping Lakshmir Bhandar, Amit Shah said yesterday that they will give Rs 3,000 if they win. I challenge them to implement a scheme like Lakshmir Bhandar and give money to every woman in a family the way our government is doing, I will quit politics. And those who are saying Lakshmir Bhandar will be stopped, our first Protigya ensures that every woman will receive Lakshmir Bhandar for life, as long as this government is in power.
