Out of these six high-rises, two fall under the Rashbehari Assembly constituency, while four come under the Kolkata North parliamentary constituency.
"Special arrangements have been made to set up polling booths in high-rise buildings — South City Mall and Asha Corporate Housing in the Rashbehari Assembly constituency," said Randhir Kumar, DEO, Kolkata South.
In the Kolkata North parliamentary constituency, polling stations will be set up in Active Acres and Silver Spring, both of which fall under the Entally Assembly constituency. Arjun Apartment in Manicktala and Lake District in Beleghata will also have polling stations.
The EC will set up polling stations in 57 residential high-rises across Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, North 24 Parganas and South 24 Parganas. Earlier, a list of 78 residential high-rises with at least 300 and up to 500 voters was sent to the EC.
