Kolkata: IIT Kharagpur has launched its first series of online executive certification programmes in artificial intelligence, machine learning and technology leadership, designed to equip working professionals with end-to-end, production-ready AI capabilities. The courses are being launched as part of its Platinum Jubilee Year celebration.
The department of computer science and engineering is offering the Executive Post Graduate Certificate in Generative AI & Agentic AI and the Executive Post Graduate Certificate in AI-Native Software Engineering. The Partha Ghosh School of Leadership at IIT Kharagpur will conduct two other courses: the Executive Post Graduate Certificate in Applied AI & Machine Learning, launched by the Department of AI; and the Executive Programme in Technology and AI Leadership.
Director Suman Chakraborty said: "This initiative reflects IIT Kharagpur's emphasis on engineering discipline, building systems that work at scale, under real constraints, for real users. It is designed for practitioners who seek true capability, not just exposure."
