Kolkata: Two cases of online trading fraud, with losses of over Rs 43.4 lakh, were reported at Bidhannagar Cyber Crime PS in 24 hours.
A Hatiara resident alleged he was lured to invest in a fake online trading platform and was duped of Rs 28.4 lakh. A 62-year-old woman in New Town on Monday said two men, posing as fund managers, promised her high returns and duped her of Rs 15 lakh. tnn
