Kolkata: The NIA on Monday moved Calcutta HC challenging the bail granted by a lower court to 15 accused in the Beldanga violence case. The bail was issued after NIA failed to file a charge sheet within 90 days. The lower court had rejected NIA's plea to extend the deadline by another 90 days.
Clashes in Beldanga took place on Jan 16 following the death of a migrant worker in Jharkhand.
