Kolkata: The EC has asked SPs and police commissioners to send civic volunteers and green police personnel to reserve police lines three days prior to the polls. "They shall perform non-election duties while deployed in the reserve police line," read the order issued by Bengal CEO Manoj Agarwal.
"They will be permitted to come for voting on the polling day in civil dress without uniform," the order added.
