MURSHIDABAD: Tension gripped Nowda in Murshidabad district during polling in the West Bengal assembly election after unidentified persons allegedly hurled a crude bomb, leaving several people injured, as reported by news agency PTI.
According to initial reports, the explosion occurred amid voting activity, triggering panic among residents and voters in the area.
The injured have reportedly been shifted to nearby medical facilities, though the exact number of casualties and their condition are yet to be officially confirmed.
