Voting is underway for Phase 2 of the West Bengal election 2026 across 142 constituencies, with polling that began at 7 am continuing till 6 pm. Early visuals show voters lining up outside booths across districts, signalling a steady start to the day.
More than 3.22 crore voters are eligible to cast their vote in this final phase, which will decide the fate of 1,448 candidates. The Election Commission has deployed heavy security, with webcasting at all polling stations, to ensure smooth and peaceful voting.
