Trinamul Congress will get 235 seats while the BJP will get less than 50 seats in the ongoing Assembly election, Kunal Ghosh, party’s state secretary said today.
He said the people have voted for Trinamul Congress because of all-round development in Bengal and deprivation of the state by the BJP and deletion of genuine voters in the name of SIR.
He said the BJP workers were not seen in most of the booths and they had let loose the Central forces to scare the voters. He alleged in many polling booths, casting of votes was slowed down to help the BJP.
Dr Shashi Panja said the people of Bengali will never forgive the highhandedness of the Central forces. “In Satgachia (booth number 116) in South 24-Parganas, the Central forces had terrorised the voters who stood in queues. In Falta, also in South 24-Parganas, people were brutally lathi charged. Rest assured Trinamul chairperson Mamata Banerjee will not spare the Central forces. She is coming back to power and after 4 May they will not be spared. The BJP does not have any workforce and depended on ECI and the Central forces to win the election. The people of Bengal have witnessed everything and will vote against the BJP,” she said.
She said in the name of Special Intensive Revision, genuine voters were deprived of casting their votes. “They will never forget this and will vote against the BJP.”
