Howrah: Aakash Singh, a key aide of the ex-Howrah North MLA Goutam Choudhary, who was feared in the area, was arrested by the Howrah City Police detective department on Thursday. An aide of his was also arrested.
The arrested persons were apprehended with foreign-made firearms, police said.
They were arrested from Kolaghat and have been remanded in seven days police custody.
