Kolkata: Beniapukur cops are investigating a snatching incident on Park Street near Park Circus, where two motorcycle-borne men targeted a 32-year-old restaurant employee around 3.20 am on Thursday.
The Salt Lake resident was walking toward Park Circus to book a bike taxi when a motorcycle approached her from behind. Suddenly, the pillion rider snatched her 7-gram gold chain and fled. Police have registered a case under relevant BNS sections and are scanning CCTV footage. No arrests have been made yet.
