• Bengal to send rep to Damodar panel after 2 yrs

  • Kolkata: State govt has decided to reverse the previous regime's stance and send a representative to the Damodar Valley River Regulation Committee.

    For the past two years, Bengal left its seat vacant, with the TMC govt withdrawing its representative.

    CM Suvendu Adhikari held a virtual conference with DVC officials on Thursday. Irrigation and power departments have been told to maintain constant communication with DVC.
