Malda: GRP on Saturday detained five Bangladeshis in Malda Town station, reports Subhro Maitra. The five arrived from Delhi and Gujarat and had planned to go to Bangladesh through Malda border, said cops. Police also said that the detainees were relatives of some Bangladeshis pushed to the neighbouring country. They have been kept in the English Bazar holding centre, SP Anupam Singh said. The detained were identified as Md Jiyarul, Guljar Mia and Md Kurban of Kurigram, Muklesur Rahman of Lalmanirhat and Sabir Ahmed of Sirajganj.
