Kolkata: Calcutta HC granted bail to Prasanna Kumar Roy, an aide of former Bengal education minister Partha Chatterjee on Friday. Roy, an accused in the alleged school recruitment scam case, was arrested by Enforcement Directorate in July 2022.
A bench of Justice Jay Sengupta granted bail to Roy on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh. He has been directed to meet the investigating officer in the case once a week. ED has so far attached properties worth Rs 698 crore in the case.
