Suvendu govt transfers 15 Officer-in-Charges in Kolkata Police

In a major overhaul of the Kolkata Police the newly-formed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in West Bengal has trasferred as many as 15 Officer-in-Charges (OC) in the city.
While Koushik Singha Roy has been transferred from the Officer-in-charge of Taratala police station to Hare Street police station, Lopsang Tshering Bhutia has been transferred from the Hare Street police station to the Detective Department.
Ramachandran Vinod Kumar has been transferred from the Pragati Maidan police station to the Special Branch of the Kolkata Police.
Babai Bhattacharjee has been transferred as the Additional Officer-in-Charge of the Bowbazar police station to the Officer-in-charge of Pragati Maidan police station.
This comes after the Suvendu Adhikari government recently transferred 179 police officers across West Bengal, including some within the Kolkata Police.
