Kolkata: Police on Wednesday seized an SUV belonging to former MLA and Trinamool functionary Sabyasachi Dutta and froze five bank accounts linked to him and his wife as part of a probe into an extortion and criminal intimidation case filed by a Salt Lake businessman. On Wednesday, Dutta was produced in a Bidhannagar court after an eight-day police remand. The court extended his custody by six days.
