Kolkata: Three men, Gopal Dhara (42), Dipankar Mondal (25), and Shankar Bhuiyan (55), have been arrested by Anandapur Police for their involvement in an illegal soil smuggling racket operating on govt land near Ruby Crossing. Acting on a complaint by Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority, officers raided the vacant plot and arrested them for excavating soil without authorization. Cops also seized a partially loaded truck parked near the excavation site. tnn
