Calcutta High Court Declines Urgent Hearing on TMC Fund Freeze

Kolkata: The Calcutta High Court on Tuesday declined an urgent hearing sought by Trinamool over freezing of party funds in three bank accounts. The matter may be heard Thursday.
Senior advocate Kishore Datta, for the Mamata Banerjee-led faction, requested urgency with the at No. 44 on the day’s list. SG Tushar Mehta, countering Datta, urged a Thursday hearing.
