Howrah: A National Urban Health Mission (NUHM) health centre clerk in the Howrah Municipal Corporation area was arrested on Tuesday night after women health workers accused him of obscene and inappropriate behaviour.
The accused, Loknath Saha, allegedly misbehaved with the women during duty hours on Tuesday afternoon, leading to protests. But he denied the allegations and lodged a counter-complaint, claiming he was assaulted by the women.
