Sacks of cash recovered from New Town guest house in police raid

Kolkata: Several lakhs in cash, packed in multiple sacks, was recovered during a late-night raid by Bidhannagar Police’s Cyber Crime Police Station at a guest house in New Town on Monday in connection with a cyber fraud investigation. Two Jharkhand residents, accused in the case, were found staying at the guest house and are being questioned, police sources said. The search continued till late in the night as bank officials were counting the exact amount of money.
