Immigration racket: NIA arrests C’garh man in Durgapur

Durgapur: A Chhattisgarh man, suspected of being part of an alleged fake passport and illegal immigration racket, was arrested by NIA in Durgapur on Monday.
On Monday morning, a six-member NIA team searched houses at New Steel Park and picked up the suspect Golam Jama from a building he had been staying on rent. NIA was granted a three-day transit remand to take Jama to New Delhi.
Jama had allegedly been staying in Durgapur with his family for four years.
