Kolkata: Kamarhati MLA Madan Mitra on Wednesday appeared before the ED in connection with an ongoing probe into an alleged municipal recruitment scam. Earlier, Mitra’s sons and wife had appeared before the agency.
“A govt agency can interrogate anyone it wants. There is nothing unusual about that. We will cooperate,” Mitra said on Wednesday.
