Kolkata: Two persons died in two incidents in the city on Sunday. Basirhat resident Ranjit Ray (25) died after allegedly coming in contact with a live high-voltage electric line in a building on Taratala Road. Co-workers and locals took him to Vidyasagar State General Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. In another incident, Anita Das (61), a widow from Manindra Road, set herself on fire using kerosene oil at her residence around 12.15 am. She was declared dead at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital.
