Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Friday dismissed TMC MLA Kunal Ghosh’s plea seeking a judicial review of him not being allegedly allowed to participate in assembly proceedings. Ghosh’s grievance, as submitted before Justice Krishna Rao, was that the LoP and chief whip were not proposing his name as speaker in debates.
It was pointed out by the judge that Article 212 of the Constitution bars courts from looking into the work or rules of the state legislature.
