Calcutta HC questions ED on need to keep Sujit Bose in custody

Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Wednesday questioned ED on the need to keep former state minister Sujit Bose in custody for questioning. The matter will again be heard on Aug 17 at 3 pm.
Bose had applied for regular bail under section 483 of BNSS. It was heard by Justice Suvra Ghosh on Wednesday, who questioned the need for custodial interrogation. Appearing for ED, ASG SV Raju claimed that Bose was not an “ordinary accused”.
