Kolkata: Calcutta High Court’s single bench of Justice Kausik Chanda on Thursday released the case filed by Birbhum stone trader Tulu Mondal seeking protection from arrest, as another matter concerning Mondal is already pending before a coordinate bench.
Mondal had earlier approached the High Court, anticipating his arrest, before the single bench of Justice Saugata Bhattacharyya. He subsequently filed another petition before Justice Chanda, challenging an arrest warrant issued against him.
