Kolkata: Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee’s personal assistant Sumit Roy was questioned by CID for the tenth straight day on Tuesday. By rough estimates, he has already faced nearly 70 hours of questioning in two cases. Sources said he has been summoned again, for the 11th time.
According to officials, Tuesday’s session focused primarily on the Debra recruitment scam.
CID sleuths are expected to confront Roy later this week with specific statements recorded during his previous sessions.
