Kolkata: TMC MP Saugata Roy faced a BJP protest at Kolkata airport on Tuesday when he arrived to attend a meeting of the Passenger Safety Committee. Roy, chairman of the committee as the Dum Dum Lok Sabha MP, was surrounded by BJP workers as his car entered the Airport Authority of India office premises. Protesters waved black flags and shouted “chor chor” slogans. Tension briefly prevailed before cops escorted Roy to the office. He did not comment on the protest and attended the meeting.
