Security upgrade for Suvendu: CM to get Z+ cover during travels outside Bengal

Out-of-state visits previously required prior administrative coordination between Bengal police and local authorities to arrange the necessary protective protocol. Under the upgraded cover, central agencies will handle Adhikari’s security directly.
Under Z+ protocol, around 22 security personnel will protect the CM, including elite commandos alongside armed cops. Adhikari will also receive at least one bulletproof vehicle along with a pilot and escort car during his travels outside Bengal.
