Counterfeiter on ‘wanted’ list held with ₹2L fake notes

Kolkata: One of the most wanted currency counterfeiters — one of the youngest in the trade and a resident of Kaliachak who was wanted by both Bengal Police and Kolkata Police — has been arrested by from Topsia on Sunday. “Md Ajiruddin Momin (21) was arrested from JBS Haldane Avenue for having in possession fake currency with face value of Rs 2,00,000.This is the first case at KP STF this year,” said joint CP (STF) Solomon V Nesakumar. tnn
